Once upon a time…
The best stories always start like this.
Originally from Brittany and, after having lived in Paris, settled in Lecce. I fell under the spell of this land and its dolce vita.
Curious about everything, passionate about travel and discovery, I wanted to understand this territory, its gestures, its secrets.
It was by discovering the ancient papier-mâché technique of Lecce — traditionally used for statues — that I decided to make it my own, reinventing it in my own way.
That’s how my first pair of earrings was born. Everyone kept asking me where I had bought them… and from that curiosity grew Lady Papavero.
HANDCRAFTED PAPIER-MÂCHÉ JEWELRY FROM LECCE
I create papier-mâché jewelry, using the traditional Salento technique, reinterpreted through my own “secret formula.” A formula born of long research, patience and countless trials: days of experimentation, mistakes and discoveries that gradually gave birth to a unique material, resistant over time, to makeup, and to the rhythm of modern life. Through my creations, I want to offer a fragment of the soul of Salento.

My jewellery is light to wear, easy to slip into a suitcase, perfect to accompany you everywhere.
I believe in independent and mindful Made-in-Italy, refusing to be uniformed by ephemeral fashion trends.
That is why every detail of Lady Papavero is born here, in the heart of Salento: from the papier-mâché that we shape by hand in our workshop, to the backing carefully sewn by a small family-run atelier, up to the artisanal packaging, designed to be touched, kept, lived.
Every step of the process tells the same story: the beauty of time dedicated, of hands working, of the imperfection that makes each creation unique.
